Not Prim and Proper
My dad called me in the office just to ask my mom’s mobile number. He said he can not call her because he forget her number. He is looking for his old tuxedo. My brother is at home asking if my dad can let him borrow one of my dad’s formal attires. He needs to attend a formal party and knowing him; he doesn’t want prim and proper stuff. LOL! He is more on extreme/rock stuff. I wonder what the formal party he will be attending. I hope it’s not about a girl again. LOL!

Hiring People
A local TV had said to have been bought by one of the elite business tycoons in the country. According to their site, they are looking for new employees. They have so many vacant positions to fill in. Man, that’s a lot of employment screening to do. I guess they have planned it all and will be diligent with their plan. Hiring people can be the most difficult when it comes to business organizations. Handling people could be harder when you make a lot of mistakes in choosing people to work for you. I have always been curious and wanted to work at the HR department. It’s interesting to get to know people. It’s like meeting new friends. But unfortunately, I don’t have a Psychology degree.

Frozen vegetables ‘more nutritious than fresh vegetables’, says report
Frozen vegetables can often contain more nutrients than fresh vegetables, a report has claimed.
Up to 45 per cent of important nutrients are lost in fresh vegetable by the time they are consumed.
It can take up to two weeks for fresh produce to reach the table from being picked although the survey found that 80 per cent of shoppers thought the fresh vegetables in supermarkets were less than four days old.
Produce which is frozen soon after being picked with have more nutrients sealed in, scientists from the Institute of Food Research claimed.
Meanwhile after 16 days green beans have lost 45 per cent of nutrients, broccoli and cauliflower 25 per cent, garden peas up to 15 per cent and carrots 10 per cent.
The research was carried out by the Institute on behalf of Birds Eye the frozen food manufacturer.
Nutritionist Dr Sarah Schenker said: “The nutritional content of fresh vegetables begins to deteriorate from the minute they are picked. This means that by the time they end up on our plate, although we may think we’re reaping the vegetable’s full nutritionalb enefits, this is often not the case.”

Alternative Way of Getting a Propety
With the financial crisis still going, somebody thought of saving money even if you buy a property. Jointly owned property will help you make savings. Instead of owning the property alone, you share it with someone else, who will also save. The interesting part is that, you use it for a particular time and the other person uses the property in another time as well. That way you share the property without invading each other’s rights. You also have the opportunity to sell it through sell my timeshare. There is a website that caters for vendors and vendees of these kinds of properties. But the best part is that it you cost less. I think that is a good alternative for people who do not have much but wants to get a property. It’s economical and practical because you don’t use properties like resorts all year long. There will always come a time that it becomes idle and that is the time that property becomes useless. The money invested on it sleeps and you don’t want to do that, investing on something needs return and the return will have to be just two things, it’s either you use it or you make income out of it, you must not let it become idle.

Teaching and Inspiring
My mom, a retired teacher for more than thirty years had been invited as one of guess speakers in a local school’s teacher’s convention. She was uneasy yesterday as she was searching for a nice dress that she will wear in the convention. While, putting on some clothes and matching them with her clarks shoes then showing me how she looks, I was finishing her power point presentation and her speech. I had to have a deep research on the topic she will be presenting during the convention. It’s about inspiring and boosting the morale of the teacher. I guess it’s just right that she will be the one to deliver such an inspiring talk –having that many years of teaching struggles and success. With the things that I have researched about teachers, I am more inspired by them. I wish my mom could deliver her talk to non-teachers as well so that we all can appreciate the people who had chosen the most humbling profession on earth -that is to live to teach and to inspire!
