New beginning

Yesterday I attended our Sunday church group. We shared our week’s blessings by telling inspiring stories that happened the past week. I was struck by this fellow who narrated a letter he received from one of our group mates before who once choose the other side of life’s road by taking into drugs before. But now with the help of our group also, we were able to refer him for a drug rehabilitation . He had a good recovery there and now he’s living a normal life. Here goes his letter shared to us. He was very thankful for our help, support and humor. He said it was an incredible experience, one he could never have imagined in his wildest dreams. According to him, it is so much more fun tripping out on life instead of drugs or alcohol. There’s a whole new world that has opened up for him and being able to show up for himself and life is one of the most exciting parts of his recovery on addiction treatment.
