Weekend Snapshot

I found purple carrots at the market last weekend. I did not know that there are other color varieties of carrots aside from the usual orange color of it. I searched the net how they came out about this and I found that there are also white and yellow carrots. They do this through a selective breeding that produce different colors.

Lucky strikes

Simple side dish

For side dish, I mixed in a bowl a small can of red beans, corn kernel, beans, small slices of red paprika and thinly slices of onions. I added a sprinkle of salt, pepper, 2tbsp of vegetable oil and 2 tbsp of vinegar. Just mix them well in a bowl and its great as a side dish for fried fish.
