Graveyard Shift

Nov

My sister’s body clock has been different ever since she got home for a vacation. She has been awake all night and sleeping in the morning till five o’clock in the afternoon. Her friends had been wondering why she was not going out. When she told them about it, they jokingly asked her if she is in the process of turning into a vampire. LOL! She wishes! So that her skin would turn into diamonds when sunlight touches her like Edward Cullen! LOL! With this body clock, I would often tell her she is perfect for a graveyard shift job. Speaking of job, I wonder how she will manage to correct her body clock when she gets back to her regular work.

Give thanks

Being Ready

With the disasters coming every now and then, the city government has launched an emergency evacuation program in case of calamities. Since they can not gather everyone around, they made a lot of flyers and local TV advertisement. Also they conduct short seminars on weekends. Everyone is invited to attend. My parents attended the last week’s seminar and the shared with us some of the things they learned. I am thinking of attending this weekend. I am just glad we have these things in our place.

Mexico Better Eyesight

We were at the hospital visiting my aunt who has undergone lasik surgery Mexico for her astigmatism. She was informed by a friend about this 15 minute surgery and she was brave enough to go for it because her eyes were letting her down for a long time now. She got home yesterday. We are all hoping for a better sight for her since we are told this procedure is a breakthrough in the medical world.
