Fruits and Veggies

I am sharing an apartment with a friend before. We both work here in the city and we can not afford an individual place so we just shared one place. Whenever she just got back from her holiday break, she would brought me a lot of stuff including delicacies from their place, and a lot of fruits and vegetables. She would always said we need natural vitamins from these healthy foods. I am just glad they have a farm. She can always let her parent send her fresh veggies and fruits for us to cook. We have maintained to be healthy even though we work for long hours.
Older, Better, Wiser

I will be celebrating my 40th birthday next month and I am pretty sure my friends who are all tease would be giving gift certificates again, for anti aging products. It’s their way of reminding me that I am getting old -though I would rather say I am getting better and wiser. LOL! Life begins at forty they say but I do not believe that. Life actually began when I started to be independent –when I stood on my own feet and tried to get everything done by myself. I was separated from my parents at a very young age. They sent me to get my secondary education in the city and I had to live on my own. I had so many unforgettable experiences that made me mature early. It was good because I become a better person everyday from then on.
