Accounting Principles

My superior had a short seminar on accounting for revenue and expenses and gift certificates yesterday. It’s the company’s first time to launch promotional items to boost sales. We are giving some premiums on selected products and we needed an accurate method in accounting for these items. It was good that my superior is re-echoing what he learned from the seminar. I hope we can be more updated when it comes to accounting principles.
Receptionist for a Day

My friend at work needed a reliever in her desk yesterday afternoon. She needed to coordinate with her aunt’s funeral planning team. Her aunt passed away that day because of cancer. Being the only receptionist for the week (her partner is on leave), her desk should not be vacant. So I was the one who relieved her but I called her partner to get back tomorrow. It was actually fun to work as a receptionist. You talk to different people and make them feel accommodated in your hotel. I am happy that the people I have transacted with were all nice.
