Waiting

Lately, I notice that when I get in line for something, I would always experience delay making me stand on the line for so long. I usually experience it when I am in line at the cashier’s station paying for my items. If it’s not about problem on the item of the one in front me, it could be a problem in the credit card processing. I have always been waiting long at the cashier’s station. And it made me thinking, is the Lord teaching me to be patient? I guess. I am the type of person who works fast and hates waiting. The good thing about it is that, I am thinking that I am getting used to the waiting experiences at the cashier’s station. I wish I can apply that in my life in general.

Internet buff

I got a new mobile phone last week when an officemate sold me his new phone. He needs money that’s why he had to give up his phone. It’s postpaid so we needed to transact with the mobile network company. During the transaction, I was offered with the network’s new service, which is an internet for the mobile phone. I already knew about internet on phones but I was hesitant until this came offer. It was worth the try so I said yes.

And I believe the service is great. I love the new network services of my mobile company. The broadband provides an unlimited internet which speeds up to 2Mbps, which is actually fast already. Thank you to the next generation broadband technology, I could access my blogs, my social network accounts and I could play online games. I am an internet buff and these things are making my life easier. It’s amazing! The best part is that, I can do my internet sessions while lying in bed. It maybe on a smaller screen but the comfort of my back is at stake when I am always in front of my PC. I don’t have a laptop, but my mobile phone is already like a laptop. Lol!

Working Hard

My best friend’s sister who will be graduating next year in high school asked her sister if she can lend her some money for her to buy a secondhand laptop. She is working as a babysitter to earn money for herself because she wanted to help her parents in sending her to college. Anyway, she needs a laptop because she is planning to enroll in sat prep courses. It’s an online tutor for scholastic assessment test for college admission. With that she can conveniently manage her time in her high school, her baby sitting job and her online review. My best friend was surprised by her determination. Young as she is, she knows her goals and she is working hard to get them. My best friend thinks she will buy her sister a new laptop.
