Winter is coming

Oh no! It’s already the month of September and before we knew it, winter is fast approaching. It is sad to say goodbye to summer but we need to. These past weeks, I feel already the cold breeze and so hello to thick jackets and snow boots. I need already to sort out my things for the upcoming cold days and also to take a lot of vitamins to keep me healthy during these winter months. I wish we will have a different winter this year that is not so much snow chaos and a safe, warm household. I hope everyone will be in good condition during this season of the year.

My father is turning sixty years old next month and I am planning to give him a new briefcase since the one he has now is worn out. I don’t know if that thing has a sentimental value on him because he always likes to use it all the time. I hope he will like my gift which I plan to give it on his surprise party that we prepared for him. He doesn’t know at all about this party because we invited some his old friends that he hasn’t seen for a long time. I am sure this affair would be a great reunion for all of them and for us too in the family.
She’s grown up

Next month my niece will be celebrating her 16th birthday and I am planning to give him gift certificate from a rider breeches shop. I am sure she will like this idea of mine. She is into horseback riding since she was ten years old. We were happy that she develops this hobby of her. Sigh, where does the time goes, she is already a grown up young lady as if it was only yesterday when she was born as the first grandchild of the family.
